Objects — Lighting

The only object in a room that changes what time it is.

Everything else in a room reflects light. Lighting is the only object that decides how much of it exists, and what colour it arrives in. We treat it accordingly — not as a fixture to fill a dark corner, but as the one object every other choice in the room has to answer to.

A console can be wrong and the room survives. The wrong light changes the room entirely, every evening, whether anyone notices why.
